Textbook Social Skills
Most HFA types know the basics by the book. Much like learning conversational Spanish. It's enough to get food, lodging and a bit of small chat. It's scripted for the person who just needs the basics. I liken social skills to that. What we have to think carefully about with the script, an NT glides.
We know the obvious things not to say and do. NTs could get frustrated with us.
YOu know what would be helpful? Where is that stuff you say we know written down? Since you called this textbook social skills, I'd like to know what those are because I at least don't think I have them down or I'm missing alot anyway. SO I guess my 2 questions are what are some of them and where else can I at least read about them? Online sources would be ideal but books and such wouldn't hurt either.
