Why do ‘messages’ either positive or negative about you spread so easily behind your back?

I think people just enjoy doing it. Unless it's toxic it's pretty harmless.

People talk, whether you are present or not, and there is no way to stop them.

All you can do, however, is give them only good things to talk about.

Otherwise, just learn to live with it.
