Lately, I've been thinking about since I'm having trouble making friends in high school, maybe I could make some friends in my town, but I don't know how.....

know?  as in NO?.....

new? as in KNEW?...

Not (as in knot>?) really.

shudders :o

well.....I talk at neighbors in passing and have my favorites--to chitter at at work or whatnot (?)
...about non important things...

but as in spend time with-on purpose??? no--->never. I had a boyfriend who had 'a couple' of good friends once..
and I loved them dearly as they were an extention of him.

but....ah gahd no, no people, bah!
draining and confusing--I don't see the whole picture on it to make a decent self assessment. Certainly don't want to hurt any feelings.

I don't know many people... it's hard for me to meet people that understand me. I always feel like I'm the odd one out of everything anyways....but this site is pretty great for meeting people with similar problems. I wonder if many people actually meet up off of this site or whether it's more of an online community.

I know exactly what you mean, and I think it's even harder to make friends around the town. Most people will think you're wierd if you approach them and start a conversation. Most teens nowdays hang out in groups and they are not interested in becoming friends with someone who has just approached them and starts talking.

I don't know anyone in my community that isn't a family member. Kind of Cliche really.

Hell, my second cousin is the mayor!

I know almost everyone in my school, and most in my neighborhood. I'm one of those people who "knows everything about everybody", so to speak. That's been true ever since I was very little.

I know lots of people. There isn't really anyone I would count as a friend though. I guess I'm just a loner.

I know my immediate neighbors and a couple people I know from school who live nearby. Other than that I don't really know anyone who lives nearby me.

I know who my neighbours are...but I don't know them personally. I've never talked to them.

I know who the neighbors are on either side of my house--- I see them doing their yardwork or coming/going often. Beyond that, I don't know. There have been many forclosures in my neighborhood, so there are fewer neighbors/newer neighbors. The housing industry is doing poorly now.

They're a bunch of neurotypical freaks :P. Odd how everyone's neighbors are freaks, but seems to be true. I have a neighbor who planted fake flowers, and watered them daily. I think the flowers died tho.

We chat, but what are the odds of finding someone who clicks with you so close? Most of mine are elderly. Fine to chat with them, but not exactly folks I'd hang out with, watch the game (video game), drink a beer....
