Know what I hate? People (including close and not-so-close relatives) sending e-mails that are just forewards of other people's e-mails. The thing about is for me is that the sender doesn't even bother to say "hi, how's it going?" :x

I hate them because your email gets forwarded to people who will use your email for spamming

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Autism Speaks will NEVER speak for me

CLASSIC AUTISM

They just want to share something they found funny. It's mostly harmless...;) They don't mean anything negative by it. It's like the old saying; "you choose your friends, your family you're stuck with"...;)

Those stories that are supposed to be hearwarming just remind me how different I am from most people.

I am guilty! Believe me, there is no rude intent. It is just like saying "hi" or "I think you will appreciate this". That should be enough

Don't sweat the small stuff.

This is the ONLY form of communication my father can handle on a regular basis... no emails to say hello, no letters (although I think his wife is the one who mails out the holiday cards)... just those stupid FWDs

I've sent emails to my family stating that I DO NOT READ those emails and I just delete them when I see them.... I still get them.

It's only from three people... my father, my older sister, and my brother.

I'm just glad my daughter hasn't started doing this.

At least when she sends me a link or picture, she writes a note to me about why she thought I'd like to see it.
She also does not do any mass forwarding of things... much to my relief!

My brother used to get e-mails like that from our cousin.
