Seriously, I take things so seriously..if someone confides something in me , i believe them no matter how bizar it sounds because if i confided in someone about me i wudnt lie.
I know other people clearly dont tell the truth
take april fools day, i friend told me online that he'd messed up, he got drunk and got a girl pregnant and now he worryed his mum is going to kill him. I didnt realise it was april fools day cause it was 1am it had just started
i thought, no this is crazy i know he wudnt get that drunk, so i was like 'no its a joke' 'very funy' and he was like "no im serious, i really need ur help" and stumbled a moment and thought maybe he means it but from experience i said again "no ur joking "
then he said " i cant believe u dont believe me ! i need ur help and ur think i wud joke about this ! fine forget it im going!" so i really felt bad and called him up to apolijise only to hear

"APRIL FOOLS"

seriously.... ! that day is EVIL

I'm glad I'm not the only one that hates this "holiday". I've gotten better with practical jokes-- I used to take them so personally and I still have to remind myself that it is meant to be "fun" (though it never feels like it though, huh?) =)

I remember in middle school that a girl once brought "homemade" cookies that looked like oreos, but had toothpaste instead of icing inside... I just ate one and assumed she was a bad cook... of course, apparently one of the teachers later that day ate one and ended up throwing up and having to leave school. it just seem unnecessarily mean.

it's a hazard. After decades of it, I still get tripped up, but it makes you quite cynical after a bit...;)

yeah im very gullible, but when it gets too weird that where my logic comes in (after like 10 seconds)
just 9 days ago a classmate of mine played 99 red balloons on his iPod, then another classmate tells me (If you dont watch Scrubs you wont get this) "know what yesterday I went to see my aunt at the hospital" and I was like "Is she ok?" he said "Yeah the funny thing is that while I was in the hospital they played 99 red balloons" me "really? thats so cool!" him "yeah, i actually started to dance with the nurses" me "wow, that is am... Hey! You are lying!"
pretty silly of me

I'm like this. I beleive what people say really easily. But not really 'cause I'd tell the truth. I might not in some situations, yet I'll beleive the most abstract and seemingly impossible stories. I'm an excellent liar, I just can't tell when someone else is lying. Luckily, no one's played any big April Fools jokes on me.

I've learned there are patterns to how people behave when they're trying to trick you:
- The eyes may be wider than normal;
- They may demand action with no time to think about what they said;
- If you smile and say "yeah?" they normally can't help smiling back;
- The more outrageous their hard luck story is, the more shocked you'll be. This makes you more likely to believe the story. At the start of any hard luck story where they look sad and their voice drops, turn on your disbelief immediately.

You'll learn others. These days, I don't believe anything without proof unless I know the person really well.

i think its also about, how well do u know this 'friend' ? Do u usually confide in them and they confide back ?
When i think about the april fools joke now, i really dont think i wud be his 1st choice to come to with a problem, so thinking about it now, i shud of known.

also when you think someone is playing a joke on u, do u challange them? or do u pretend not to be intrested like it doesnt shock u ?

i do think pracital jokes when they arent done with a close friend can be a form of bullying.

If I catch someone trying to play a practical joke on me, I tell them what they're doing and say, "Nice try." If the joke's harmless I laugh about it.

I'm not a victim of april fools as I don't trust what anyone says unless they can prove it's true.

I used to be extremely guliable as a young child but have learn't that most of what comes of out people mouths are either lies or "exaggerated truths".

I fell for a stupid april fools joke.

Someone said they hate me and don't want to be my friend anymore over a text message. I didn't scroll down to read the "april fools" and took them seriously.

I know exactly what you are talking about when you say you are really gullable:) I trust people in general WAY too much, and it often comes at my expense...

Just keep telling yourself when the day comes that you may be being fooled. Be wary of people going out of their own way to try to get your attention.

I have to say i really hate april fools day...i have told everyone close to me to not do it to me cuz i just cannot see the fun in it.

Someone tells you something and you believe them and then you get laughed in your face cuz you trust the person.

All that teaches me is to never trust anything that person says ever again...I have enough trust issues without having to doubt my friends too.

April fools day really should be banned :evil:

when i was younger i used to be dead gullable... but that was less than a year ago... iv come to realise that if you dont understand a question its best to just say "no" or ignore it depending on the question.
