She's so depressed, and she won't let me in...it makes me so sad, as I've been so depressed since grade 8.

What you can do is let her know you're there for her. Doesn't sound like much, but it can sometimes mean everything.

I'm trying. She keeps on denying everything...
It's sad because it's so obvious (even for my Aspie stupidity)

Is she expressing suicidal thoughts? If it's something really serious, you should maybe talk to her parents.

Sometimes all you can do is let someone know you're there for them.

If your friend is expressing suicidal thoughts you should try to talk to parents or perhaps a teacher.

I would just like to say that I am in a very similar situation, and so I have the utmost sympathy. Just make sure she's knows you're there and that you care, and hopefully she'll come to you when she's ready.

She says it's being taken care of...I hope she's telling me the truth.

You're doing all she can accept right now. You're a good friend. :D

Sorry to hear about that. All you can do is be there for her. We as ppl don't really have the ability to change people's thoughts only inspire good or bad thoughts. So don't think you've failed just b/c she hasn't communicated with you and is going through whatever circumstances.

I'll second what Yoshie said, ebec. You are a good friend, you should know that.

Stupid depression tries to convince me otherwise : :rambo:
But if I have friends with my awkward social abilities, there must be something good that people see in me.
I still wish she would talk to me more though, she's just so sad and I can't do anymore :shaking:

Listen to reason, not depression.

Based on the worry and care you have for your friend, I'd say she's very lucky to have you.

I hope things are better now.
