Learning Territorial Boundaries

When I was younger I wasn't really good at figuring out the concept of 'personal space'. It wasn't until I had a cat and learned from the cat's behavior that I developed what I can only describe as 'territorial' instincts.
For some reason I go through behavioral mimicing phases, and this doesn't just include people. And somehow this behavioral mimicking of felines really stuck with me. It's almost like part of my brain thinks I'm a cat.
So now, I know boundaries, but with some interesting side effects.
