This new friend has large problems with her eyesight and has to do things like:

Read very large print on very big paper in school and stuff if she is not to struggle.
Risk crossing roads; she often cannot see cars coming and was hit by one once (and she got a broken leg).

With my aspieness, I struggle in the outside world as well. Last Tuesday, we met in town alone for the first time and we helped each other. Our handicaps are a great deal different and because of that, we were able to stumble well together.
