I have a friend who I have known for years as she is very sweet.
However, I had recently invited her my birthday to go bowling a week late. Her parents had told her they were planning on taking her but I got a reply last night that she couldn't make it because he parents have to work. My function is a 6:00, and he does something with printers, and she is a sign language enterprater. In addition, this girl has learning disabilities and is over protected by her parents and they are very strange. For one thing, she has a boyfriend and with a pick-up but isn't allowed to ride with him. Second, her mother is extremely stuck up and seems to have an attitude towards me and I feel like she dislikes me. Third, they are relgious and probably won't have anything to do with Halloween. Fourth, I am in college, and my friend doesn't want to go to college, so I think her mother is mad that her daughter isn't in school and that I am.
The question is,
Am I overreacing?
