Battle of the sexes - childish games
I've been hanging out with some old friends. We're in our 20's but they still act like children.
Anyway we were at a Youth group and boys were pegging footballs at the girls and the girls were fighting back. The boys were yelling sexist remarks at the girls (not really that hurtful, just childish).
I sighed 'children' and sat down. I saw no point to joining in their game. One I didn't want to get hurt and two I didn't want to hurt any boys.
Another time my friends were spitting skittles at each other while I stood there eating them. No the ones that fell on the ground, lol.
Either I am too sensible or I've actually matured before them. I'm 22 and they are 24.
Does anyone else see no point to childish games like these?
Even when I was five I didn't believe in girls or boys germs and that boys and girls had their own side when we lined up for class. Anyone relate to that too?

Yep, I'm like that.
Sometimes this is taken seriously, like on the show "The Doctors" (should be "The Bullshitters"), they were trying to compare male to females in behavior. Then they tried to make it sound like one gender is superior.
My mom (at 50) still plays those childish games, and I've had a few high school teachers play them.
I don't understand why either gender would be different just because of gender. It is society induced; arbitrary.
