In the past year, there has been a various amount of changes in my circle of friends. For instance, 4 of them are in relationships and spend time with them. However, I never feel like I had the time to spend with them anymore one-on-one anymore. Like New years, for example, as I got to spend it with a friend. However, I got kicked due to her boyfriend's parent being in town, and her taking off. On top of that, she abandoned me for another friend whom she sees all the time. So, I either got stuck by myself and meet other friends. Now, I do not have a problem with her seeing her boyfriend and her other friend. However, I don't get to see her that much due to school and lack of transportation. However, I really felt like I was not real high on her list. I also feel like I am jealous of her because she has a wonderful boyfriend and now I am not so important.

On top of that, there is a guy of mine who is suddenly dropping all of us like a hot potato. Honestly, I don't understand why he did that. It's like, one minute he is going to my birthday and acting like a friend, and the next he's pouting because he hated 'Twilight,' stomping out of a movie theater, and then abandoning us out of the blue. Moreoever, he called me the 'B' word. In addition, he made plans to go see a movie with me on the 2nd and then turning around changing his mind at the last minute because he doesn't like my friends.

As far as friends go, I sent everyone of them an e-mail expressing my feelings about how everyone seems to be savataging each other lately and acting like we are better than the other. The first friend I mentioned said that she was sorry and we are willing to be friends. In the case of the second, he wrote back and told me that he wants to have a brain dead relationship by e-mailing every now and then. However, he informed me not to call him and invite him anymore. In so many words, he also informed me that he felt like he was better and that his girlfriend was more important than his friends.

In my own opinion, I feel like everything seems to keep disappearing. I also feel like I am the only one who feels like friendship is more important that somone's love life.

That's how it is for me too. Going in to 2008, I had 5 really good friends, a record for me. Going in to 2009, I have 1 friend/good acquaintance left. Two of them moved away, one got married and disappeared, one flaked out and I just dropped him because it was more frustrating than it was worth, and the one that I still am in contact with got married, but just doesn't have time to do stuff anymore.
