So I need to have surgery coming up on May 22. When confronted with this scenario 2 weeks prior, he relayed to me that there was nothing wrong with as long as I didn't interfere with other people's vacation time, which it doesn't. I understand the seriority thing and do not mind, but I have already scheduled this and NOW it's a problem. His ass and his brother's ass. who also works there, would have to go to a wedding, than I was completely uninformed of. Why didn't he mention it when I told him I was taking off?

My point, as someone with AS, I fiercely stand for what I believe, which can, coming from me can sound like a douche sometimes. I'm not always the nicest person when it comes to my beliefs, I just defend as if I were in a war with them together, lying in a trench, watching each others  asses..and I just would like to know other passive forms of telling him "I'm not rescheduling"

passive will not get you anywhere. he is the boss and he will translate your passivity as you going along with his decisions. unless you stand up for yourself you will always be treated this way.

on second thought he could just fire you. he is the boss. bosses can do that.

How true. But the bottom line here is that I am prepared for that if it comes to it, and will stand my ground. My foot hurts every single day until I get this procedure done, and he knows this. If I do wait for him and his brother to go to their "wedding", I have to suffer another month, and he knows that. I think it's selfish on his part.

You should always work at a place where you are accepted. I would be looking for another job. However, finding a job isn't all that easy either. I would confront your boss and tell him that you seriously need this surgery. Just say your sorry about it but it cannot be helped. If the reaction is not a good one then I would not want to be working for them.
