I like talking to this girl online (never met her in real life), but for the past couple of months she's been too busy to talk. This bothers me a lot because I like talking to her, but I don't like talking to her with the way it's been. I can't stand having many friends, so I tend to focus on one person at a time -- never having more than one really close friendship at a time (I absolutely detest superficial friendships). I know it's not going to get any better so I told her that I don't want to talk to her anymore yesterday, but it's hard. I can't imagine getting any good advice here, however, so I have no idea why I'm bothering with posting this (to vent I guess). It's interesting to note that I never knew I had Asperger's when I first began talking to her, and because I'm not extremely autistic and because she knows someone with Asperger's, she doesn't think I have it.

Hi, Gentleman. I'm sorry that your friendship ended like that. I suppose a big disadvantage of concentrating on only one friendship at a time is that it's extra difficult if that friendship ends. I can understand, though, why you might have felt that it was better to bring it to an end- it must have felt hurtful and frustrating to have your closest friend constantly too busy to talk with you. I hope you're able to find yourself another good friend soon. Until then, I guess venting here on WP might help a little. You may be surprised at the advice and support you get, though- there are lots of caring people here. Take care, Jenny.

It's hard, but try opening up to other people. Don't be angry at her forever. Remember how it used to be, and know that it can be like that again with others. Maybe even her again, one day far off. Keep your hope alive. The world's a big place, and it can be wondrous if you let it be.

Yeah, I'm definitely not doing it out of anger.
