I'm going out to a bar/pub/club type place tomorrow night to see my friends band, and I want to treat it like an assessment of how well I can do socially. I would appreciate it if you could help me come up with things that I can say to either random people, or things to talk about with people I already know.

Talk about how awesome it is that most people are as smart as politicians, because they are (they're just not as manipulative ;D), but people will think you're just being funny (because it is funny)....

You just have to figure out your own way to do it though, I was just generalizing the idea.
