Which pres. candidate(s) are you not disgusted by?

Barack Obama seems like a nice guy, given the fact a lot of mainstream publications are trying to give his campaign a JFK-style boost.

Something in the smile and personality of John Edwards just won me over.

The fact Mike Huckabee plays guitar/electric guitar and has his own band
makes me like him even more.
Likewise with Obama, mainstream publications are giving Huckabee rebel rockstar status.

Although...

Hillary Clinton is a total ice queen, turning off younger, more liberal first-time voters.

AND

Mitt Romney is starting to sound more like an a**hole than a presidential candidate.

Also my two choices. I disagree with Kucinich on several issues, but at least he is sincere and genuine. Huckabee, Romney, Guliani, and Hillary just scare the hell out of me. Any of them would sell out their principles in an instant to have a better shot at the presidency. And in any case, their principles mostly involve some variant of neo-fascism.

Obama, but i'm from Illinois so that's local pride more than anything else. if i have to vote for somebody it might as well be a hometown guy, that's kinda nice.

No offense but that is a stupid reason to vote for someone. I could care less where a candidate is from, what color or gender they are, what religion they are, all I care about is their credentials for being a responsible leader.

is it any dumber than any other reason people vote for somebody?

seriously though, i also happen to agree with many of Obama's ideas and beliefs. the local aspect is just a nice little garnish.

...plus (and i freely admit this is rather petty) he and Alan Keyes gave us some great unintentional comedy when they ran against each other in '04. Keyes basically told the people of Illinois they'd go to Hell if they didn't vote for him. he only got 9% of the vote. hi-LAR-ious!

maybe, but he voted no on extending it's wiretap provision.

when it came to Homeland security, he also voted on limiting soldier's deployment time to 12 months, preserving habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees, implementing the 9/11 Commission, and restricting business with entities linked to terrorism.

...anyway, c'mon dude let's not argue over this. you have your reasons for voting who you're gonna vote for and so do i. i'm not gonna pretend i can change your mind.

No Democrats. Maybe Fred Thompson. He doesn't have much experience from what I can tell. What we need is an honest man like Fred, untainted by the disgusting antics career politicians try to pull on themselves, and especially 'regular' people.

Hillary. Yay, she seems to have no chance after last night when Edward ganged up on her with Obama.

And Richardson. In last nights debate he said essentially nothing. "lets do a better job and support things" is basically all he ever said. The other candidates at least had actual plans. Richardson only had buzzwords---no different than what Bush does now.

I'm overall Republican and like Huckabee, but Obama I respect, and Edwards came across as likeable. Hillary's voice is shrill and annoying. And I don't respect her.

I think people will choose a black man over a white woman
