UK Schools drop the Holocaust from history

Well, it's sort of screwed up don't you think? I mean, if theyr intending NOT to offend jewish people, theyr obviously screwing up pretty badly. if I were jewish, I think I'd have a right to know about that part of my history, and even if it is horrible, it should still be taught so that people could learn from it (like anyone learns from history anyhow, only awakened people learn really because the same demons humanity has faced throughout history, we still face today and people are totally blind to it).

Indeed. And our government doesn't want to provoke a fight with them as that's too politically unpredictable. Muslims have got us by the balls, as it were. There are vast numbers of them in many of our major cities and this is what happens when they get upset:

So much cultural integration and "multiculturalism" is bad. If people want to live here, then they should learn to live by our laws and rules. We shouldn't compromise culture in the name of political correctness.

It is good to accept some aspects of a foreign culture. We aspies, sort of a foreign culture ourselves, should know that. But if you try to please absolutely everyone, you end up with a conflict of interest. Schools in the US have these problems, too. Science teachers push a lot of saving-the-earth stuff to please the liberal parents, but are terrified of teaching sex ed and evolution, which would offend the conservative parents. The same thing is going on in the UK with Muslims and Jews, only weirder and more offensive.

Chicken chow mein is about as much of foreign culture as I want, here, thanks.

Muslims are going to dominate Europe with their increasing numbers in few decades ....and they won't make the world a better place.

Nah, I don't buy this elitism crap from either side of the fence. AS people are different from NT people, but humans are still humans. You really cannot speak in generalizations; An AS saying "we value fact over opinion" could be countered by an AS stating the psychological fact that those with ASD's are more likely to be immersed in an imaginary realm or have an imaginary friend.

My point? We're all people, and we all do some stupid-ass stuff. But to announce a foolish sense of superiority over those towards whom you feel disdain because of their own ignorance is simply mind-boggling.

This forum cured me of the notion that having AS gives you a clearer and more reasonable view of the world.

And it's nice to see everyone read the whole thread before beating their breasts about Political Correctness Gone Mad. To quote the relevant bit from page 3:

Naw, I think the birth rate among Muslim ethnic communities will eventually drop to normal European levels. I am concerned about the large numbers of Muslim immigrants, but the "Eurabia" rhetoric is over the top scaremongering.

I'd be happy for Holocaust education to be dropped from schools. It serves the same purpose as Slavery education: control of young minds.

If it has been ditched in some schools, or if it will be ditched in some schools in the future, would almost certainly be down to the Muslim lobby. The needs and wants of the native people don't matter to the scum who hold political power.

Much as I despise our establishment for their grovelling to the Muslim lobby (among other things), as they say, "even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day".
