I haven't seen Cloverfield yet but, geez, with numbers in the thousands, the Transformers could probably also take down the last FF movie's version of Galactus and the main characters from DragonBall Z at the same time.

A good single TF to pit against anything Godzilla-esque would be Trypticon, the Decepticon T-rex who turned into an entire city. He could take it out easily enough: the question would be whether he could do it without completely leveling New York.

Cloverfield wasn't that bad, it was just a good movie with an anti-climatic ending (maybe b-cuz they might have a sequel) like Final Destination 3
