Commanding friends
Don't you love it when the only person that would talk to you regularly would also want you to calm down and stuff? I talk, he listens; I stim, he gets quite mad. This is a mixed blessing but it is highly frustrating at times. His house is so orderly, colognes, cars, and a vigorous routine. Mine is the essence of a total disorder, my hygiene is an ogre compared to his. But he enjoys the idiocy and everyday innuendo that I provide. It seems shallow, but somehow it is one of the things keeping me socially afloat. Whenever I suggest something he digresses angrily. It is kind-of sad.

I'm not sure if I get exactly what you mean...but I THINK i've been in a similar situation. I have one real life friend who I see on occassion. She listens to me and because I don't get listened to often, I often end up in a tangent about something, stimming etc and she tells me to "stop that you are acting crazy".
As much as I like to be around her, I dislike it just as much.

This friend tolerates, and somewhat likes the acting crazy, but he does have limits like everyone else. I guess it is good but sometimes I just need to be away from him, just like what girls do but much more subtle.
