1. Xenogears, for bringing anime, mecha, and all that is right with role-playing into a sweet $45.00 package
2. Mercenaries: Playground Of Destruction, for taking the GTA formula in a completely new formula and having the ability to destroy any building.
3. Final Fantasy VII, for mixing the RPG action of Final Fantasy with a dystopian cyberpunk landscape, plus the materia system was well done
4. Front Mission 3, for having the most involving storyline and a simple easy to learn battle system, something not shared by its successor.
5. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, for taking the time of the eighties and making a game of it, plus I really like new wave music
