I might focus on AS and these forums more than improving my social skills (which i do, because im not attempting to improve my social skills at all) but overall i consider myself happier than trying to converse with normal people on their playground. I've always felt satisfied by socializing over the internet.

To be fair, about half the threads you just described are your own.

Well, I never claimed we were better and I never claimed anything I said about NT's made them anything less. I don't know how the heck to explain all that to people when they aren't hyperanalyzing things or aren't seeing the world in a machievellian form at times but it's allright, I'll let that one slide. Elitism takes not seeing both sides and believing one side is better than the other, for as much as I may run my mouth sometimes I neither think we're better than them nor do I have a problem seeing how the human condition has the whole world bent.

That comment was actually directed toward NeantHumain because half the threads he described in the initial post are his own. E.g. Monks and AS, Tenuous correlation between heart rate and Asperger's, Crusty eyes and Asperger's, etc.

Allright, sorry about that. Next time though if someone's post is about 7 or 8 up the chain you may wanna quote them just for clarification :)

Okay, but in every other forum I've ever posted on it's been assumed that a reply is to the thread author unless otherwise specified.
