One time my AS ex and I went to a therapist. She explained to him that trying to interact with him was like playing tennis with someone who wouldn't return the ball when it was batted their way. Evidently I have nothing anybody is interested in, which is entirely possible, or I am in AS hell again.

I know a great deal about the Northwoods.

I live in a town called Northolt, which translates into modern english as northwood :) unfortunately the actual wood (north or otherwise) was destroyed centuries ago

I like mountainbiking (if you could call it that in SE england) but im still in the beginner stage, lacking the skills & equipment to tackle anything extreme. I find it therapeutic on many levels. My only other outdoor pursuit is walking - in which case im usually scouting areas for new mtb trails.

Great I lived in South Dakota USA in the Black Hills for 20 yr. The tallest peak is 7840 ft. Believe me it feels like a mountain when you are hiking up to the top. I rode bicycles with my ex quite a bit. Anytime there was an uphill, it was quite a workout. He could usually pedal. I gave up and walked the bike uphill.

Mountain bikes were rare back then and very expensive.

I prefer horses. Horses watch out for you! I rode horses all over the Black Hills and Badlands of SD. Very very very very much fun. It is great to be places where there are miles and miles of open, unfenced places.

Any kind of exercise is theraputic for me. I have severe depression and anxiety. When I am busy dong something, my symptoms don't exist.

I think I was designed to be an explorer or something. Having routine drives me crazy. (depresses me)
