Sometimes I think I'm better off on some deserted Isle
With no one else around to call me names or cramp my style.
I'd dine on coconuts and swim around in the lagoon.
I'd sleep beneath the trees and rest my eyes upon the moon.
And if one day I happened to observe a passing ship,
"I'm quite content without your help," I would then blithely quip.
"This island is a lovely home; I don't need to escape.
There's nothing you can offer me, in any form or shape
To make me leave this place I've come to think of as my own
Tourist stop for people to be shown."
But that, would ruin the desertedness of this special place...

To make me leave this place I've come to think of as my own
It would have to be a tourist stop for people to be shown.

But that would ruin the desertedness of this special place
And then my peace and happiness this dark cloud would erase

So once again I'd cast my lot to sail the open sea...

To find the scared land of the island of the mint pea!

This land, having few people...

This land, having few people but ample vegetation
Seems the ideal place to found a sovereign Aspie nation.

A bit of tin-foil daubed with colour serves as the new flag;
As currency I use some peas I've gathered in a bag.

By email I ask all Wrong Planetarians to come
And while I wait for them, sit down and sip some mint-spiced rum.

As I begin to drowse, I see some ships pull up to land
And rush to give the disembarking folks a helping hand.

There's Strapples in a powerchair and Specter in a fur
And CockneyRebel in a silver-painted Routemaster,

JerryHatake in a straw-hat, looking like a tyke,
And TallyMan, bad to the bone, astride a motorbike.

Syzygyish in a space-suit, Richie with a million books...

They start building the city...
