I don't know how. So I am putting it here where people can see it on its own.

The idea is that you can find people who've possibly had similar experiences. Maybe no one comes here expressly looking to give people support, but a lot of people have a natural instinct to reach out to someone who's written about something they recognize. There may be no way to escape the well-meaning advice at first... last time I checked we didn't have any telepaths here... but my hope is that at least in here, you can ask people not to take a certain approach, or give a certain type of advice, and have people actually respect that.
