It is ironic, if not stupid for an atheistic organization to be throwing around "God" and freely labelling themselves as such. For one, they don't have any understanding of Him outside their anti-christian views.

And my interpretation of it wasn't. Satanism is purely about the Ego. An ideology that puts selfishness above selflessness.

and i find it hilarious that you refer to what would be an omnipotent/omniscient being as a specific gender seeing as if such a thing did exist, it wouldn't have need for genitals.

And I find it hilarious that you don't understand the limits within a language that doesn't differentiate between genders. Your belief in it having to need genitals is stupid. Consider that in other languages the masculine is given for many things, as well as the feminine, it does not mean that they are assigning sex to the mentioned object.

That is not an unfamiliar frustration, although everything has tone for me... certain groups of words form chords, as it were, and different interpretations evolve. Certainly, it does seem we share a taste for semantics and puzzles... and an appreciation for the conscious works of others - responsibility. "Do as though will" isn't an interpretation that appeals, not feels natural, to me... it always read as showing the greatness and insignificance of man, the need to step up and fill a void left by superstition, to overcome our fears and act accordingly with each other and our experiences.

Nay - that is left to the authors of fantasy. Not meant to be mocking, it has been my experience while learning about a writer that those with strong religious views, regardless of faiths, are prone to the art form. While I may not share a faith, I will always appreciate the quality of a fine work of literature.

Legends and mythological beings and magic can be quite fun to play with in literary and graphic context. Dragons, for instance, are present in many fantasy stories but they are outrageously un-aerodynamic. Unless they could not only breathe fire but exude rocketfire from their behinds they would never get airborne. Much of the shape of any flying animal is based on the huge chest muscles which are required to power the wings and most depictions of dragons I have seen lack these muscles.
In the 1940's a companion magazine to Astounding Science Fiction called Unknown Worlds later shortened simply to Unknown carried a story by Heinlein titled "Magic Incorporated" which used many of the laws of magic to base its events. It was well done.
