We have a gas tax in the U.S., and it's the primary source of revenue for funding highway and road maintenance and expansion. Hillary Clinton's proposal for a gas tax holiday really was short sighted; we really need a lasting solution, not a bandage.

This fuel tax is truly a w*k. It wouldn't be so bad if there was better public transport but once again, it is the taxpayer who is stiffed by such charges.
