Its true and thats fine.. but dont come to America and maintain your allegiance to another country. People who do so (flaunt their loyalties to different countries) should be weeded out and deported. Being an American is something that all races and social classes are entitled to if they go about it legally, but once here they have an obligation to this country to embrace its culture and hold its interests in the highest regard.

There is a reason that the United States frowns upon dual citizenship and it is because people who are only here to take advantage of the great opportunity and prosperity it affords them (the earned rights of American citizens) without commiting to the basic principles of nationalism, do so to the detriment of all true Americans.

The freedom and liberty enjoyed by Americans was achieved through the inspired sacrifice of those who believed in the dream. Anyone who does not respect this sacrifce or the blood spilled to forge and sustain the greatness of this nation, does not deserve to be here.

QFT. Who can argue with the above? Many nations will not let any newcomers in, let alone give them equal rights
once they are there. Why is America alone declared that it must let the whole world stampede through it unchecked,
while most other countries are allowed to ban newcomers outright, or legally discriminate against them harshly?

According to nativists I'm not American. It is strange because I have always considered myself American. I even get into arguments because I don't acknowledge my parents country as part of my identity.

Eh, confused am I.

I don't think we'd even have to annex Mexico, just open up the border and they'd all come here, the country would be empty. Then who would make all the Tequila and grow all the ditch weed? I suppose we could let them have Utah, it's not doing much for the rest of the country anyway. We could rename it Tierra De Alubia, think of how easy it would be to find construction workers, and the lawns would be immaculate!

While we're on the subject of annexing our neighbors, I'd like to float my idea for reducing or eliminating the national debt. Yes, I'm talking about selling Canada to the Chinese. It's them we owe all the money to, and what do they need more than space and wood? It's not like it would take a lot of time or money to take over our northern neighbor, from what I hear it's mostly populated with illiterate sport fisherman and faux-Frenchmen, hardly the stuff of an effective resistance. Hell, we could charge the yellow man extra if we clear out the French before they get there. If they want to dicker over the price, we could shop it around to some other overcrowded Asian countries, the Japanese might cough up for a chunk of BC, and maybe the Indians could scrape together a few rupees for a bit of Toronto. I'd say offer some to the Bangladeshis, but I don't think they have any money. Maybe we could give them some of Quebec as a humanitarian gesture, I doubt any rich Asian countries would want it... I mean, we could just keep the place, but as we have plenty of wood, fish, and illiterate sport fisherman here in the states, why would we want it?

a significantly less corrupt power structure and less control by the gangs/crime organizations.

just from the stories i hear from people here about mexico...there's damned good reason for the people to want to come here for a better life.
