What web sites are you addicted to for the latest in world news?

you dont say where your from, otherwise id have posted your local indymedia too - its a network.

Although it's a group blog (dedicated to "the best of the web"), not a news site, [url=http://www.metafilter.com"]Metafilter[/url] ends up with a lot of important and often under-reported news stories and usually pretty good discussion. There are lots of other good non-news links that get posted, too. I check [url=http://slashdot.org/"]Slashdot[/url] for technology stuff and occasionally poke around the BBC site, too.

i like indymedia. i like [url=http://www.schnews.org.uk/]schnews[/i] too.

i tend to rely on the BBC mostly, though - Radio 4 is just great to spend all day listening to.
