Hey guys, thank you all so much for your support.
I had a call back from J's neurologist yesterday morning, I told her about the pool incedent she seamed concerned, she doesn't want him in the pool at all unless the swim school can 100% gaurentee 1 on 1 supervision. I told her what his aspie teachers had said about how difficult it is for them to keep him focused and how he forgets what he is meant to be doing. I asked her if this was just "normal" aspie stuff or is he really losing time maybe having absent spells.
She asked if he had ever had an MRI, he has had 2 when he was a baby. Due to a massive convulsion after a lot of blood loss as a baby.
I told her that I had spoken briefly with his teacher and she had admitted to how hard it was to just keep up with the normal stuff in the classroom let alone throw in now monitoring J for possible seizures considering she doesn't know what she is looking for. I explained to the Dr that J doesn't have an aid the school wouldn't apply for funding when they were first told of his dx. I explained that I had been in conduct with the head person in charge of students with dissabilities within our education dept and she was telling me to have another meeting with J's vp and to tell her that she herself is strongly recommending that the school apply.
The doctor said she would type up a letter herself over the weekend(in her own time) asking for the schools help in monitoring the situation and advising them that it is unsafe for J to be left unsupervised until they work out what is going on. She said her clinic has been over booked for the next few weeks, but she would see what she could do to fit us in as soon as possible.
The secretary rang me later and the soonest she could get us in is the 11th of August at 8.30am She said the doc is booked out and doesn't usually work at that time but will be coming in for us. Hopefully we will get closer to an answer sooner.

My older cousin popped in to see me just the other day, I told him what was going on with J and he informs me, he used to get a feeling of being totally over whelmed and then pass out/collapse. Noone ever looked into it. He also had typical ADHD behaviour.

Did I tell you to add alot of oils to his diet?

I feel better when I eat a lot of olive oil and my neurologist said thats because the acidity in any oil induces a ketonic state. The endocrinologist told me to take omega 3 fish oil capsules as well as eating olive oil. They seem a bit big for a child to swallow though

I remember that happening and hearing about it afterwards. It was really scary and I'm thankful I wasn't one of the users who happened to log in during that time (I was actually off my computer). Another problem is animated graphics and avatars; on most epilepsy sites, they specifically make a rule banning them. However, I've had issues with them on other sites I frequent.

Aurea - they actually let him in the pool? That was a very bad call of judgement on the part of the doctor. I'm a former competitive swimmer and lifeguard who was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and I've only been allowed to be near the pool a few times within the past month and only when my dad or sister was either in the pool or right near the pool. Seizure disorders and pools do not mix well. :/
