well...not to sure what to say.....I 'have' asperger's but am undiagnosed.....when I was a toddler my mom was told something was off and to have me evaluated for autism...but she had the anger and denial response and nothing was ever done. lots of trouble through the years caused and inflicted by/upon me...but I won't tell you my life story 
i'm undiagnosed and have been misdiagnosed several times in the not-so-distant past which have caused me massive anxiety and mistrust...now I'm seeing a therapist...only seen him once but I like him despite how uncomfortable I am in that sort of one-on-one environment....and I am definately one of those who you can tell a marked impairment in gaze moderation! it doesn't get any better in there..
so am I supposed to tell him I'm undiagnosed asperger's? or do I say nothing? I'm not sure what to do...my next appointment is a week from today.....so far I probably just appear rather scatterbrained to him...and he probably knows that I like birds...lol

Definitely tell him you think you might have AS. If he's any good, he should know already since you've been nattering on about birds and haven't been able to look him in the eye!

i don't know why it makes me so nervous to think about telling him that I think I might have AS! ...I guess it's just because I'm not c-o-m-p-l-e-t-e-l-y comfortable with him yet...since I've only seen him once. Maybe I'll feel differently once I get into the second appointment and it will come up 'naturally'
