LOL, it should be the other way around.

No you got it right...

Men are supposed to look at pink clothing worn by a woman and be reminded of the other pink (at least subconsciously)...

Ack. You guys are making me feel weird now...There's just something about a man in a pink shirt that drives me wild.

If more women were like that, men would be wearing pink shirts all the time...

I've always been confused - do people ACTUALLY go out and by things or shop certain places because they see them in a commercial? Especially if it's food items and similar things, where it's all about one's personal preference? The only way I could conceivably see myself referencing a commercial in terms of my choices would be if the ad was humorous enough to stick in my mind and it really didn't matter what kind of thing I chose or where I bought it. But even then, if another store was closer or sold better quality products, or if another brand was just better, I'd use those actually practical considerations instead to make my decisions. :\ It's weird, that someone would actually be influenced enough by a commercial to get or go somewhere they wouldn't otherwise.

But on topic, yeah, I find advertisements that try to tell me what I'm into or what I want based on something as arbitrary as what's between my legs or what my age is or anything else to be condescending and actually off-putting when it comes to their real message. I want to know what the product will actually do and what its quality is, not what the person wearing/eating/driving/sitting on/playing with it looks like, or what kind of life they leave purportedly as a result of having it. It seems rather distracting and irrelevant to the thing itself.
