You have no credibility when you talk about faith.

....You didn't learn anything at all from that Atheism and Satanism thread did you?

That was nothing new for me, nothing no one could teach or that I didn't already know. I stand by my statements.

Satanism in general has absolutely NOTHING to do with Atheism. Most Satanism is spiritual and is literately the worship of Satan. If you're an Atheist it's impossible to believe that Satan exists so you couldn't be a spiritual satanist. Now.. LaVeyan Satanism is basically just bored Atheists, but that's the only brand that even licks Atheism, the rest are closer to Christianity than to reason.

I wasn't aware that Anton LeVey created post-Jesus Christianity as well...

By saying that, you are using contrast to categorize all christians as unreasonable, which is, in and of itself, an unreasonable statement.

I don't like religion, any religion. Hell it all comes from the same place. Thank the culture creation industry over in the big corporate board room for your so called "alternative" religions or cultures. I used to be "goth" at one time and i followed much of this s**t but I grew past labels though.... I find them restrictive, mentally enslaving...... Plato said all culture is created from the top down.

I actually meant Satanism is closer to Christianity in the sense that Christians believe in Satan while Atheists don't which is the core of most brands of Satanism. But yes I consider Christianity itself unreasonable and pathetically stupid, you're on the ball there. And I didn't say at all that Christians are unreasonable and pathetically stupid, I said their religious beliefs are and their ignorant categorized intelligence that leads them to even consider believing it.

Uh No those that came after jesus created their own version of his teachings and created satan at the same time. Way before Anton LeVey. I am talking about the likes of Paul and Constantine. The devil does not appear in hebrew scripture and is a construct of christianity.

@ Slowmutant you are quite correct I do not have a religious faith, does that mean that I have no idea about religion no it does not. Admittedly I could not go more than a few rounds with you in a bible debate, but I know enough to see the many flaws and manipulations that occur in, and have occurred to, the bible.

There's different kinds of Satanism.. some of the Satanic occults claim to be atheists.. But Luciferian; which is the religion of the occults of the Illuminati, is not atheistic. They believe that Lucifer is better than God, and that God is child like.. they believe that Lucifer is smarter, wiser, and of course, he gave knowledge to man where God tried to prevent it.

Well maybe one reason why people choose satanism is that they want a sense of belonging or purpose, and they just dont feel that in mainstream chritianity. It could be that some people feel that purpose may be with the darker side of things then with the brighter things, could it be a crime to deny what someone feels is there destiny.

I find it amusing that christians claim that god is all powerful and then in the same breath tell us that there was a war in heaven in which god could not defeat lucifer who then came down to gods greatest creation and wrecked it. Make your mind up guys is he all powerful or not :?

I think it was more of a mass eviction than a war, but you have a good point there. I've wondered about that myself. Were there any casualities in that conflict? If angels fight each other, can they be killed? Can they die?

No one really has to turn to the darker side of things to find belonging, but I guess that's how the devil and his influence peddlers operate.

Well imagine that to someone they see all this christianity thing with god a type of prison where they are forced to do things they do not want or all the people of god they see are cruel to them or think that they are ignorant. Anyway you christians should be happy with there being satanism, that means you have a name for your evil enemy and dont have to acuse Muselims and Jews who are based off the same religeon of working with the devil.

Maybe god wants this dark group people can see how good light is as without dark and evil you can not apreciate light and good.
