I usually change my mind on my intentions about the future, but for now, these are my goals:

Quote:
Meantime (financial):
1.) Find a job.
2.) Keep the job.
3.) Actually save the money,
rather than compulsively spend.

Meantime (educational):
1.) Retake the ACT.
2.) Possibly take the SAT.
3.) CLEP any subjects that I can.

General:
1.) Keep my thoughts honorable to God.
2.) Stop being depressed.

Future (educational):
1.) Go to a Christian college that has a linguistics program.
2.) Keep GPA at or above 3.59

Future (vocational):

1.) Survey or translate for Wycliffe if accepted.

Sounds like a good plan overall.

My plan:

Buy a farm, pay down debt, improve health, maybe someday move to the farm.....

It would be nice to work and live on a farm. Also, an orchard would be pretty neat too.

Hm

Well I want to really kick ass at school this semester, since it's the end of my sophomore year. Currently my GPA is around 3.5 but since I'm taking 19 credits this semester, there's no reason I couldn't bump it up to around 3.6 or 3.7.

I'm juggling a good deal of extracurricular learning (which is where most of my real education comes from). These days it's: differential equations (interesting, especially wrt modeling, but difficult), linear algebra (boring, but needs to be done) and statistics (easy, pretty fun). More continuous mathematics these days. I am much stronger at finite mathematics and want more balance. Once I get more of these guys out of the way, I can do fun things like graph theory.

I'm an assistant in the ESL lab so I'm also reading up on my favorite ethnic groups.

Future I don't quite know yet.

I hope you meet all of your goals. Honestly, we disagree a lot about religion, but I must admit that you seem far more knowledgeable about your faith than most Christians.

Hope it works out for you. I'm 15 so I really can't exactly start doing anything major with my life but I can see myself finishing high school (will be done in two years from now), going to a local college getting a decent job, going from there.
