You've done some exploring. Possibly a long road trip where you watched miles of asphalt pass into your rear view mirror. There's still a lot of the country that you've never gotten to.

You've wandered most of the states, probably covered the whole continent at one point or another (possibly even multiple times). You've got a lot of stories to tell and can probably spin some wild tales about how you saw the Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota... or how you've driven from one end of the Historic Route 66 to the other.

Yep, that's about right. I've been to 34 out of 50 (including everything east of the Mississippi except Vermont and Wisconsin), plus Puerto Rico. And I did take a trip across the country, this past summer.

You've taken some REALLY great trips around the country. You've probably seen most of the big cities and major tourist attractions. When you stare at the map of the U.S. - you can confidently say that you've covered most of it.

I have never set foot outside Europe, let alone the US.

United States? That's that little island on the West side of the Atlantic isn't it?

(Always used to drive from my home in Wisconsin to visit relatives on the west coast. Traveled from Wisconsin to the east with the drum & bugle corps. Later, Uncle Sam arranged for me to see much of the southern US.)

Most of my trips are from here to Tennessee.

I know I've been to a few more states than I said yes to, but I don't remember them well, because I was like 2.

How can you set foot out of a country you never been to?

Sorry, I just could not help myself to that little joke there.

I've not even got my passport yet, so I won't bother with the quiz. That reminds me, they need more information, I wish it was easier to apply for one, but the UK must be the hardest places to apply for a passport. Anything up to 6 weeks

You've barely ever traveled the U.S. - maybe you've gone across a state-line or two on a brief vacation. But much of the country and it's territories are names in a book or places you've only seen on television.

Well, yes, I never was in the USA, but to say 'small town'... meeeh!

I've never been to the US.
But I've lived in, attended school in and travelled extensively through Europe and Asia. Currently live in Australia.

All of the East coast from Maine to Florida, once to Texas by air some 30 years ago and once to Ohio four years ago.
Drove through New Hampshire and Vermont a few times, been to Upstate New York many times. Originally from Long Island.
