I have not been able to see Fedor fight. I have heard alot of praise for him.
It sucks that some phenomenal matches can't be set up because of contract complexities and fiercely partisan organizations.
I haven't watched a pay-per-view of MMA yet. Like beef_bourito, I just watch the free ones on Spike or late night reruns on the WB.

I agree. When I see the respect they show for each other after attempting to destroy each other, I realize it ultimately is about the purity of competition and survival and not about ego or money for many of these guys. Their dedication and discipline in the face of pending brutality and the humanity they show after the fight is over amazes me everytime.
