Correlation not causation. 90% of humanity is a waste of oxygen to start with if your looking for someone who's both a stoner and who might win the Nobel prize (both small groups of people) your looking at the same probabilities as winning the lotto.

Is there a definition for this "legalisation"? Age limits? Stoned Driving Limit? Anything like that?

The Swiss policy is to allow heroin production under regulated conditions and provide it to addicts to prevent them from harming themselves more than necessary by using impure/contaminated drugs or turning to crime. Marijuana would likely be subject to similar regulations as alcohol.

And they might actually have to develop a test for driving under the influence rather than relying on a traffic cops judgment (it's kind of scary how many people die a year in jail from medical conditions when the police officer just thought they were high).

Having met 2 does not qualify as "quite a few". But then again, maybe the smoking culture is different out here. I know many people (including myself) who smoke. None fit the braindead stoner stereotype that you're alluding to.

Where did I say I only ever met two? And its barely a stereotype. Its an accurate description of the people I know who smoke pot.

Again that's because your only taking into account the people you have met. Several of the people on my team smoke pot and make significant contributions to our goal of finding a solution to heavy element contamination of the potential well in a combination magnetic electrostatic containment fusion reactor.

It's not that dumb people smoke or smoking makes people dumb you just apparently haven't met a member of the less than 0.1% of the population who are both really smart and use recreational drugs.

Which suggests to me your not doing anything more significant with your life than building complex smoking paraphernalia either.

I was responding to the stereotype comment. It isn't a stereotype if people are actually like that/doing that. And I did say I knew of at least one chap who was both intelligently creative and a stoner. And what exactly are you trying to imply? I must be the dumb kind of stoner because I haven't met any of the (by your figures) very rare clever stoners? Where did I say I even smoke pot? Too many assumptions there I feel.
