I really don't see why it had to be locked and then every single post gone though and the quotes removed, and then added that "edited by lau" Thing. It seems pretty pointless to have done that, when the thread was causing no harm and people were enjoying it. It seems like a major waste of time when there is so much more to worry about.

I am an admin in another forum we had lots of problems with nested quotes once they reached a certain level causing problems with the data base. Not that I think everything they do is great here but this is probably just trying to avoid problems
