Writing religion, 101: inspired by Platypus and Slowmutant..
Ahhhh, Daran. I remember you too. Would it truely surprise you, that I did not create Universalism, out the goodness of my heart, but Universalism was, in fact, bourne out of my absolute, almost insane, hatred, in relation to the current state of human religion? Look across your knowledge of history, and try to understand what I am saying. There are people's names, from history that I wiill not even invoke, whose level of hatred, was completely infantile, in relation to the objectively and the rationality, which fuels my hatred, in which I approach the subject of religion. I turned my hatred into something constructive and turned myself towards the benevolent.
My objectivity and rationality, the empiricial way I approach the subject of religion eclipsed, my extreme hatred, that boiled, my very blood, to breaking point.
I realized that the only way to combat the current state of human religion, wasn't by trying, through, brute force, to remove religion from human culture. I realized this was impossible. I realized that the only way to combat the current state of human religion, was by training my mind, to see beyond the current state of human religion and create religion that is infinitely superior to anything that currently exists on Earth.
The only way to combat the corrupt and infantile religions of Earth, is with religion that is objectively, and intellectually superior. The only way to combat the horrendous state of religion on Earth, is with religion that accurately reflects the realites of Existence, as they relate to human experience. One must create and design religion that is in harmony with scientific truth, and is in harmony with what human beings know, and do not truely know about Existence. One must be able to define in the philosophy of the religion one creates, the exact dimensions of the extent, and limitations of humanites ability to gain information about Existence.
Of course, these are the rules, I have imposed upon myself in relation to the science and art, of writing religion. Writing religion, has rules, in relation to me. I have imposed rules upon myself, in relation to writing religion, with my God given free will.
For the longest time, though, when I was young, I was consumed with hatred, by the ignorant, naive, infantile, and quite offense content of the religions, human beings have imposed, upon themselves. But I turned that hatred, I transformed that hatred, into something beautiful... I am no saint though. I am the most pathetic, of human beings. I am bound, almost excrutiatingly by my cognitive disorder, to a most pathetic and sad level of experience of Existence.
But I force myself to work through my limitations, to create something beautiful and profound.
It took a great many years for me to reconcile the hatred that boils my blood, beyond the ability of my words to convey, how, I even now, feel, and transform my hatred into something constructive, benevolent, profound, and beautiful.

Aaaaahhh Daran, I remember you, as well. Would it be such a surprise that Universalism, was born, not out of the goodness of my heart, and was born out of my absolute hatred at the current state of human religion? I was consumed by hatred in my youth, at the current state of human religion. I won't even invoke the names of those that have come before me that have commited the most horrific of atrocities against innocent people. The nature of my hatred, made the greatest of human atrocities seem almost infantile in their expression. The nature of my hatred wasn't that of propaganda, and for the sheer attainment of power. The nature of my hatred was far more terrifying than that. The nature of my hatred at the various religions of Earth, was far more logical, rational, objective. There was almost something, mathematically quantifable and was quite coldly calculated, in the form of my hatred, that was quite reasonable and quite logical, almost justifiable, due to the sheer logic and power of my reasoning ability...
Hating religion, without any kind of rational and objective perspective on the subject is rather pointless. There is far more to religion than exists within the human sphere of Existence. One could probably go as far to say that religion isn't even limited by human experience. One can almost assume that there are religions all across the Universe. Religion, in all likelyhood, isn't limited to humanity, as a phenomena. One, such as myself, certainly has to be able to understand religion this way, if one wishes to do a competent job of writing, and creating the damned stuff. I write religion with the rule, imposed upon my consciousness that I must consider hundreds and thousands of years, in relation to the consequences of what religion I write today, at this very second, and in relation to every second in spacetime, I find myself that I write religion.
It is an inevitability that human beings will create religion, the list is currently huge, in relation to how many people who have created religions in the last 200 years alone, Slowmutant, if one wishes to be enlightened about it, one must accept that it is inevitiable that people will create religion on Earth. l.ron.hubbard, yahweh.ben.yahweh, the ba'hauallah, joseph.f*****g.smith, aum shunriko. Man, the list goes on, and on, and on. All one needs to do is pick up a dictionary of religion, from one's local bookshop to see the truth of it.
One must simply give in, to the fact that people are going to create religion, and there will be billions of people who will give themselves totally over to religion, regardless of how insane the philosophy of a religion is.
It is a sad, but inevitably true fact, that can be backed up, as a premise, time and time again, with cold, hard empirical, scientific data...
People in general, are not as picky about the religion that they choose to devote themselves to, as I am. I mean I was so picky that the only religion I will give myself over to totally, is the religion I write. And I am a far more fanatical critic of my own religion than any other human could pretend to be.
As I have said in the past. So long as there is a market for religion, and all humanity is that market, then there will be human beings who will create a product; the product being religion to tap that market. And there and millions of people, billions of people, the market, isn't shrinking, it is growing larger, every year, who will buy any insane product that quite mad, megalomanical, self indulgent human beings who are all talent and who have no consideration for human Life, will sell the masses, for a quick buck.

Oh man, that's funny heh. But this is where I differ from the others. I don't have a problem with religion, I just have a problem with yours.
The funny thing is, in the vote, on this very particular subforum, in relation to whether people would erase religion, if they could simply press a button, the majority of people, said they wouldn't
There are more people who want religion. Than don't want religion.
The question, of course that is important, is what religion out of the infinite number of permutations of information that can be rendered by the mind, in relation to religion, onto the surface of the Universe, will be of most benefit to them.
How low of a quality of religion is sufficent if, a person who creates religion, who is talented in public speaking and has a personally powerful level of personal magnatism will people settle for.
Why settle for a religion, being sold to the marketplace of humanity by someone with a silver tongue and a power personal magnatism and a powerful presence, when religion can be created and designed to be so much more, than a mere collection of eleoquent and elaborate concepts that deliver empty promises, and that have nothing truely tangible to offer the individual.
It's quite profound, once one does enough research to see how low people will set their standards, in relation to religion, and in relation to how low they will sell their own soul, to follow religions, which philosphies border on the insane.
It truely is a "Mad World", we live in, if one observes closely enough.
Of course, I write religion, that trys to rectify the spiritual and intellectual equilibrium of humanity.
It is such a pity, I am so terribly ill.
Thankyou, Slowmutant. Humility is the most difficult, of virtues.
I can promise you, one thing I do not feel, is highly of myself, quite absolutely the opposite in fact. I take every opportunity to point out how inferior and flawed a human being I am. I somehow think that is part of what I am meant to do. I feel like I am supposed to be incredably flawed. My cognitive disorders, are more severe than I make out. I am grateful to whatever powers that be for every single atom, of every single sentence I write. Because I know, for an absolute fact that my horrendously flawed humanity will come crushing down upon me at any second.
One tends to get carrried away, when one writes religion. It just goes with the territory you know. The bigger you are, the harder you fall, and all that.
Believe me, when I say, I am consumed, far more with self doubt, and I far more consumed with self loathing than I have confidence in myself.
But when one writes religion, one must at least, be able to project themselves, and must be able to speak strongly. At least when one can. Religion as one writes it, starts to wear pretty thin if one can't project a little confidence, dare I say it, "authority", once in a while. You know, one starts to look a little pathetic, if one drones on, about how sick and pathetic, one is.
To write religion one must project an aura of authority, at least to one's self and one must keep that in check and under control as well. I have to believe in myself and the religion I write, or I just come across as indecisive. Writing religion is a discipline of the mind. One has to train one's mind to believe in what they are writing, and one has to have control over their mind, one must be one's own most intense critic. It's easy to write s**t and pass it off as religion. You know, perfect example: l.ron.hubbard, the master of BS. Universalism is more than that. Universalism is like an incredably well designed machine. There is a precision that I am aiming for in the religion I write. There is a level of quality control that I demand of it. And I have to force my brain, trick my brain, consciously train my brain with mind exercises and constantly prove to myself that I can write better, and better work. It has nothing to do with ego. It's about doing the best job that I can do, to the very extent of my ability.
Sometimes what I write, or say may seem imperfect. And that is because it is.
My imperfections, are expressed throughout Universalism, in harmony with the very best philosphy and religion that I have written...
But yeh trust me, my writing devolve into self loathing and, dispare at the existential tragedy of my Life. Sometimes I even make fun of the existential tragedy, that is my Life.

well, I really don't have a problem with religion, with fanaticism and fundamentalism from any side, would be the issue, basically, but mostly, the problem with people and how they conceive themselves supported by any belief system.

Yeh, even if one feels like complete s**t and even if one's brain is a complete mess, due to the terrible cruelty and tyranny of the genetics, that has been imposed upon them. When one writes religion, one has to at least, project a reasonable level of authority on the subject. You know, I try and be as objective, skeptical as I can force my poor, broken, brain to endure, while keeping as open a mind as I can, but you know, it's really a lot harder than it looks on this forum.
Hhhhaaha, geez. Okay Slowmutant, I'll let what you said slide, because there is a great deal of truth to it. And I like you, you have given me a lot of food for thought and actually got me to the point where I have created something I beleive meets my very high standards.
Lemme write something for your amusement, it's my last post for today. My brook is almost completely babbled. My creative process, is at its end. I maybe have one more day in me in relation to my creative process if hit my brain with enough wine and beer.
Let's get real for a moment. I am f*****g useless. A pile of dirty dishes is almost enough to bring my brain to complete paralysis. I can't clean a house. I mean seriously, getting up in the morning and staying awake for more than 5 hours, is a huge victory to me. I don't pay my own bills. And I pay someone to do the work that needs to be done in my small business. Seriously, I could train my cats, to run my small business and it takes me over 5 hours, just to get focused enough to do a quarter of the work that I pay someone to do in less than an hour. I flunked University because my stress induced dyslexia, would bring me to the point where I was almost brain dead, even when I was only doing 1 subject a semester, after two weeks into the semester.
You know, forget that I can meticulously explain the entire nature of religion, as it directly relates to human beings, with a deadly precision, that almost defies explaination. Forget, that I can define the very limits and extent of humanaties understanding of Existence, as it relates to the point in spacetime they find themselves at, given half a chance. Forget that my brain will completely shut down, if I am talking, orally, to more that 0.5 people at a time. I mean let's face it, I am never going to run for f*****g president.
You know, in the very limited amounts of time, my brain actually functions properly, I actually have done some research, on religion. I even joined the ba'hai faith and was just as quickly excommunicated for my absolutely heretical views. You know, such silly heretical views, such as no human being, even the founder of the ba'hai faith was perfect and God forbid I didn't think the bahuallah's work was not to be tampered with, or upgraded to be relevant for the 21st century, because a lot of what he said was obviously crap, to anyone, you know with eyes and a brain, and who has the ability to use those most essential of organs.
I can't think of many religions, that I have studied, I can't think of many, if any of the work of the founders of those religions, whose work was subject to upgrading and improvement, if someone thinks, or even can, do a better job. Most of the work that any founder of religion that I have studied, is almost, if not the absolute word of God and is certainly absolute not allowed to be changed, nor upgraded, nor even questioned in relation to it's usefulness, or validity to the 21st century mind. Most of the religions on Earth are considered perfect and the absolute word of God by their followers and is completely beyond refinement, upgrading, or improvement.
Universalism is different. I am not the final author of Universalism. Universalism will always be a truely evolutionary philosophy and religion. I know for a fact that I am imperfect. I am not a God. I am not in anyway that I know of connected to God. I am a mere human being. My work therefore will always be limited by my flawed, humanity. Most, if not all the religions I have researched, the philosophy is untouchable, because it is apparently the absolute word of God and is therefore, beyond revision. Of course, in my opinion, this is complete BS. Universalism is imperfect. Universalism is quite, proudly imperfect. Universalism is not the final word of God. There are billions of years of potential Existence that human beings may survive for. And I accept that I am a product of my times. Universalism is a religion for people who want flexibility in the religion they believe in. Universalism is for people who do not want to ultimately, be bound by the current limitations of the human mind, and brain. Universalism is for people who do not want to be limited by the current point in spacetime that Universalism was originally created.
I have specifically designed the philosophy of Universalism, so that it can constantly be improved upon, until the end of time, beyond my own lifetime. I have set humanity free from the tyranny of the religions of their past through Universalism. But I still advise a degree of extreme caution, I advise an almost impossible to attain level of perfectionism that one must push themselves to, if they choose to write religion worth the gift of Existence. Writing religion is not a game. The very survival of humanity, balences on every syllable, one writes.
This is a little rough, but I hope you get the idea. You know, once again, it's right off the top of my head and is unedited.
In the end I am nothing, in relation to the philosophy and religion I write. And in my case I am quite sincere about it. Writing religion and philosophy that pushes the most extreme boundries of the human intellect, is the purpose, this premise is the very foundation of Universalism. Writing religion, that stabilizes and improves the future of all living beings is the purpose of Universalism. Those that write religion that actually meets such lofty goals should be respected, they should be appreciated, but in the end, it is the philosophy and religion, those gifted in creating religion actually create, that is important, only the philosophy and religion they create truely matter in Universalism. I myself, in the end, if all memory of me, as a person fades completely into history, I hope that the solid foundation of Universalism, as a religion, survives, all memory of me... The survival and well-being of humanity is the purpose and intention behind why I write Universalism. My own Life, and using Universalism to further my own material, greedy, insignificant, little human desires, is not the purpose of Universalism. Don't get me wrong. I would like to make a living off of it. You know, I have to freaken eat, somehow. I don't intend to sit naked in a cold ass cave, eating grass to prove how spiritual I am. I'm a 21st century guy, what can I say? I'll settle for the absolute basic of necessities. Cable TV, and Internet, a warm bed and a hot ass wife. Self flagalation and living in dog crap, is just not on my schedule.
One's own Life is meaningless, in relation to the extreme level of perfectionism, and the religion they subsequently create. If one's religion is useless, if it has no true benefit in improving the future for all living beings then the religion they write, no matter how beautiful, or eloquent it seems to be. Useless religion, is still rubbish, no matter how eloquent and lofty it illusionarily seems to be. One's intentions in writing religion should have nothing to do with the attainment of personal wealth, or for self indulgence and should have everything to do, and should be absolutely and completely devoted to the improvement of the quality of all Life.
Okay, I am not sure I quite nailed it. But this is the end of it for now.
I might be able to get drunk enough and make my brain submit to my mind's wishes for one more day, then I'm gone. Try and keep this thread constructive. I am really freaken sensitive, if you girls and guys, get to stupid about this thread I will walk away and go back into solitude for a few monthes.
Make the most of it. The future of the human species is depending on you!
Transcention Universia...
"It's hard to believe I was pretty much illiterate until I was about age 30. It's a pity I am such a pathetic example of a human being, so beat down by the tyranny of my own genetics. But hey, you know, one has to make the most of what one has. Life's a cruel, freaken dominatrix."
Sometimes I like to mix my humanity, with lofty philosophy and religion, to lighten the mood. What can I say I was a devout reader of the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy... It's my bible.
I try take the infinitely profound and complex and make it entertaining to read. Sometimes my religion is a little sad. I write in all kinds of styles. Sometimes I write logically, and quite coldly methodical, and am almost mathematical, in relation to the objectivity of the style I write. Sometimes I write quite frightening realisticly about the future and my plans for Universalism. I try and mix it up.
Okay, tl;dr, as a lot of morons like to add on the net. I'm spent. Good night. Or good morning, as my current case seems to be.
Could you provide a summarized version of your religion, perhaps with bullet points? I was not able to digest so many words all strung together. Or maybe paragraphs would help. Actually, the things you wrote in your responses tended to be a little easier to comprehend than 153.
It sounds like you have some very interesting ideas, and I'd like to be able to parse them.
Passage 257 - of the religion of Universalism, as it is written, by yours truely.... On this forum, of all places....
Is it a good, or a bad sign, when your general practitioner, a doctor; quite a talented doctor, and diagnostician, I might add, in my own opinion; who tells you he is going to go work for the King of Saudi Arabia; asks your opinion about what he should do about Islam, and asks you, while eyeballing you, with absolute, and genuine sincerity, with paper and pen, in hand, expectantly, about what he should read and do, in relation to this aforementioned King?
That's pretty f*****g weird man.
Seriously, one just can't make s**t like that up.
Welcome to a single moment, in the day, of my weird, God damned Life...
I have so little contact with any human beings, who give me truely, stimulating, meaningful conversation. That when someone actually listens to me, and realizes the full extent of my gift and power to write religion, as a true source of religion into Existence, that is really makes my jaw drop, in total and complete surprise...
There are so many interesting threads on this forum, that demand my input. But I have such a limited amount of time per week to focus, and write religion.
Hhhhmmm agnosticism, one of the keys to enlightenment.
Transcention Universia....
P.S. I have enabled my email, if anyone has meaningful, and constructive inquiries they wish to make to me about the entire nature of Existence; how to attain enlightenment; or such things as: what the true nature of God actually is, in relation to human beings,, then knock yourself the f**k out, take a risk, and ask me.
P.P.S. I can't guarentee anything. I'm a lazy mutha. But since no one engages, me in meaningful conversation, or does so, only very rarely, one might get lucky, and I might explain the true nature of Existence, as it relates to human beings, to you....
Your last post was interesting Clair, I will look over it. My time is so terribly limited... I have such a tiny window, to work in, operationally, week to week, month to month....
Passage 259.....
I feel like, such a pathetic, and wretched man. But one must work within the limitations of the genetic tyranny, that they are inflicted with. There is no point, giving up all hope, and doing nothing with one's Life, no matter how much one suffers....
My Aspergers, is always, chasing me down and closing in on me; walling me in every week, till there is no hope for escape, not relief.... No matter how drugged up I am, or how smashed on alcohol, or valium, I am...
I feel like I am eternally running away from the demon, that is Aspergers, but it always, ALWAYS, catches up with me... I can only hold off the inevitable, for so long...
Once my Aspergers takes hold though, that's it, game over, for the week....
God, I wish, I pray, there was a true cure, to this hideous, and cruel, ailment.....
