That's why you have a lack of sympathy toward animals.
I do? That must be why I am looking after a kitten for two and a half weeks, and feeding her fresh duck, lamb, tuna, and tinned sardines, and burst into tears after rescuing her from where she had got trapped in the wall one evening.
I have just realised/worked-out that I am allergic to cats.
I knew that there was something bizarre about my hyper-emotional reaction the first two evenings and morning about it's running around madly etc etc, and then getting lost in wall.
I knew I was feeling increasingly spacy/floaty mentally but put it down to more dairy and sugar than usual over xmas. But I had the first bout, ( in years ) of urticaria/itchy skin rash about 3-4 weeks ago, just after new friend, ( who I see about once or twice a week ) got the kitten.
And then I woke up yesterday with severe diarrheoa and the first actual vomiting, ( as opposed to nausea ), in years, and spent day in bed etc ( incidentally away from cat ). Felt lots better. Today feel worse as day wears on, begin to feel "off" again. Go to bed, woken up two hours later by dream which tells me something about the cat, and ... boom ... I have worked it out.
I suppose I would have found out before if I had ever lived with one. Never have except for three months at a time when totally alcoholic.
No wonder I have been fretting about animal rights!

Weird, the way the body-mind works. I, ( my body ) have been wanting to get rid of this cat, without my mind knowing why.
