I have an interview this Friday for a job that I REALLY want (psych nurse) but the interview is with 3 people. I usually do okay with one person, but I find three to be totally intimidating and much more difficult to manage, social-stuff-wise. I'm really afraid I'm going to blow it because I won't be able to figure out how to manage 3 people, all looking at me, asking me hard questions.

Also, this hospital uses the dreaded form questionnaire. They each sit their with their list of questions in front of them, and they take turns asking me stupid inane questions like "If you were a nurse here, how would you describe your abilities in one word". I'm panicking already.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks for asking - it went well. I haven't found out their answer yet, though.

I've never done an interview with only one person. It's interesting that you seem to think more than one person is abnormal. Although all the interviews on TV seem to be with only one person so maybe its normal to have 1 person interviewing you.

I've been working for over 20 years and the first time I was interviewed by more than one person was about my 20th job. So it's not what I "think", it's my experience.

I pretend that I am having a social chat with an interview panel, which is rather ironic.[/b]

I'm glad to hear it went well, Aylissa.

Let us know when you hear about the job.
