Basically, people should accept autistics as they are (not try to change them, and not try to selectively abort autistic fetuses).

If one were to take the podcast at its word we should not, by our own wits and methods try to cure any disease. After all "all things were made by God for God" including nasty diseases. Devout folks will simply suffer whatever God has inflicted upon them. Right. Sure.

I will give you a hint. Any attempt to explain a natural phenomenon in terms of scripture is doomed to failure. God-did-it is not an explanation of anything.
