It's disgusting, the lengths these people will go to desperately try to prove their beliefs are correct. My blood began to boil just listening to that lady talk.

Peanut butter? That's nothing. I've recently discovered that Ferrero Rochers are the atheist's worst nightmare. During commercial breaks, they've been showing this short 30 second documentary on how they were invented, and apparently they weren't made by humans; the recipe was discovered when the gods of Olympus accidentally dropped a Ferrero Rocher from the sky. I'd have to say, this has completely shaken my worldview, as it seems that Ferrero Rochers are irrefutable proof that there is such a thing as gods - after all, nobody can prove that they didn't fall from the sky!

The funny thing is he is talking as if life magically appears, which is uncannily like creationism not evolution.

It is not as if evolutionists argue that life just appears in any environment on its own.

The food industry struggles to keep peanut butter free of salmonella, and bug larvae are a common contaminant.

They are discovering new strains of bacteria all the time so it is not as if you can rule out new life occurring in peanut butter. Bacteria evolves all the time. That is why strains become resistant to medicine quickly.

"The entire food industry depends on the fact that evolution never happens ..."

Any baker how works with a sour dough depends on the fact that evolution happens; without evolution we are not able to explain how a sour dough stabilized itself, survives at all and changes his qualities over time. So the mere existence of an eatable rye bread proves evolution.

The balloon industry also relies upon the fact that nuclear fusion never happens, at least according to this guy's reasoning.

After all, astrophysicists say that when you get a gas, and put it under pressure, nuclear fusion happens and it becomes a star. Now, when I blow up a balloon, I'm putting gas under pressure, so it should become a star, if we believe what these astrophysicists are saying. Yet not once have I been caught in a nuclear explosion while blowing up a balloon. And millions of other people have blown up balloons, yet their balloons haven't turned into stars either. We've had billions of tests, yet not once have we created a star this way. So nuclear fusion is nonsense; the only possible explanation for why the sun shines is because Apollo somehow uses his magic to make his chariot glow.

Quote:
The salmonella outbreak spawned one of the largest ever product recalls Wednesday by a Georgia peanut plant where federal inspectors reported finding roaches, mold, a leaking roof and other sanitary problems.

Managers at the Blakely, Ga. plant owned by Peanut Corp. of America continued shipping peanut products even after they were found to contain salmonella.

(...)

FDA inspectors reported that salmonella had been found previously at least 12 times in products made at the plant, but production lines were never cleaned up after internal tests indicated contamination. Products that initially tested positive were retested. When the company got a negative reading, it shipped the products out.

That happened as recently as September. A month later, health officials started picking up signals of the salmonella outbreak.

(...)

Inspectors at the Blakely plant also found that Peanut Corp. did not take proper steps to prevent finished products from being contaminated by raw peanuts. Roasting is supposed to kill the bacteria, but raw peanuts can harbor salmonella.

He's saying this simply because he hasnt found the right jar of peanut butter yet - why should he be so priveliged? A work colleague was saying only a couple of days ago that she opened a multi-pack of Club chocoloate biscuits and there were maggots inside all of them (and these were sealed packets). Doesn't this PROVE abiogenesis from 'energy'?

(I hope you don't take me seriously on this one).

I'd just like to laugh at the peanut butter recall because I'm allergic to peanut butter. This is like my revenge. Soon all the peanut eaters will be dead and the era of the Peanut-Intolerant shall begin! Bwahaha!

And not to mention the most famous snail in Legal History: "Donoghue v Stevenson", [1932] AC 562; House of Lords:

"By an action brought in the Court of Session the appellant, who was a shop assistant, sought to recover damages from the respondent, who was a manufacturer of aerated waters, for injuries she suffered as a result of consuming part of the contents of a bottle of ginger-beer which had been manufactured by the respondent, and which contained the decomposed remains of a snail. The appellant by her condescendence averred that the bottle of ginger-beer was purchased for the appellant by a friend in a café at Paisley, which was occupied by one Minchella; that the bottle was made of dark opaque glass and that the appellant had no reason to suspect that it contained anything but pure ginger-beer; ..."
