They are delusional, and nothing will change their minds. Keep up on your vaccines, and keep healthy, and keep advocating for us. Just don't let them bring you down. Gads, they are brain dead, but they aren't thinking. They are looking for something to blame, anything, because otherwise they would blame themselves for their kids' autism and that hurts too much. That's sad, because it becomes about them and not the kids. And really, it's not anyone's fault. And in most cases, it's not a bad thing. It's just different.

Hang in there.

Don't take it too hard; the guy you were arguing with is so far out there it's not worth getting upset over (it's not just that vaccines cause autism, but that the fact us part of a huge cover up, as the illuminati want to dumb down everyone to make a takeover easier).

Yeah, there are a lot of idiots out there in the world. But you just can't let them get you down. Just a couple of weeks ago someone on youtube was trying to tell me that aspergers wasn't an autism spectrum disorder, and that I wasn't really autistic because I had the profound abillity to type words (in complete sentences even!) with a keyboard. Because everyone knows that people with autism are just too stupid to use a computor, let alone have an actual opinion!

But, seriously, you'd be doing yourself a favor by just laughing at their stupidity and moving on. If we all let ourselves stay angry at every ignorant person we meet, we would all spend most of our lives in bitterness.

I used to get into MASSIVE flame wars with people over various topics, not necessarily autism-related. But now they just make me too damn angry, so I try to stay out of that kind of argument.

Trying to argue with people on Youtube is futile...

I remember a long time ago a columnist doing a satire on the moon landing, explaining that the lunar module really landed in his neighbour's sand box. From op-ed pieces to YouTube, the world doesn't change much.
