Does it really exist?

How is something proven in this world? What evidence do you need to accept that something is true? If science agrees that something is proven, then do you accept it?

ruveyn, something does exist in this world and it can be proven because we operate by material laws. I think most scientists would agree that something exists. If you asked the top scientists in the world to prove you exist, they would probably want to prescribe you medication instead. If this isn't good enough proof for you, I'd like to hear why.

*sigh* I am also having trouble recalling the last time I ate a Cheeto. I just assumed this was the reason life sometimes seems to lack meaning. I bet I am having more fun with this thread than anyone else.

I bet claire333 has a nightmare about being on Pluto serving Elvis cream doughnuts all day long and having to listen to him playing the trombone all night and with a strange hideous looking alien stealing her soul.

Yeah...the top of that thing looks like a scrotum. ...freaks me out...

Not the most aesthetically pleasing avatar I've ever chosen. It's a 'Guild Navigator'. I like it in a weird sort of way, not so much for the looks but for its abilities in the film "Dune".
