What I am about to say is sort of a political action involving money.

I wonder how many people know what object changes hands more than anything else? Simply stated, it is money. Money changes hands more than anything else, and it can be used as an outlet for political expression.

I simply don't care about defacing money. Money is the root of all evil. As long as you don't deface it in its entirety, stores will still take it. For example, defacing it towards the mid-section, like crossing out the face of the person on the surface, or the picture of the house on the back ... is simply not enough for money to be refused.

Have you ever received a bill which has some writing on it? I sure have, many times. It is what gave me this idea. This idea simply involves a rather slick way of expressing political or social opinion.

"TYBOB!" may become an acronym that will grow quite popular in the near future. It stands for: "Turn Your Back On Bush!"

Spray this phrase on one side of the bill, and "TYBOB! (Turn Bill Over)" on the other side. Use preferably black ink that gets the onlooker's attention. Make up any phrase, if you'd like. Try making it informative. I've been known to include websites in this manner, just so people who may glance at the bill have something to read about! Know any good websites? Why not spray them on the bill as well?

Don't use a lot of space on the bill, however. Overdoing it can cause a refusal of the bill. A phrase or website is good enough.

Millions of people will then receive this bill. I sort of like the glossy ink with a high reflective index. If someone then receives the bill, the high reflective index may cause even a dimly-lit light to shine upon it. It's bound to get the onlooker's attention!

Let people know you hate Bush!

Erm... no. Don't start defacing banknotes. It looks like your little campaign is both desperate and criminal if you start doing that.

Anyway, you know what's going to happen? Nutters will then try to out-compete you by writing "yes to Bush" on notes. If it's easy for us then it's as easy for them.

It's not worth it, quite frankly: via "stopping criminal behaviour", you give the government an excuse to attempt to shut down your campaign.

It's a really crap idea. Sorry, but it is.

It doesn't seem like a crap of an idea to me. I don't know if it is legal to only put small words on the bills. I've seen people do it so I doubt they actually enforce a law that says you can't do that.

I have not heard of many people that seriously look at their money. My money has probably had all sorts of cuss words on it and yet I have not bat an eye at it. Besides, why turn your back on Bush now? He isn't doing anything. He doesn't have the power to do anything. In fact, some(by some I mean at least one) of his recent decisions/ideas(Dubai ports) I have supported and yet it failed due to an anti-Arab bias that congress responded to. Really, I think it would have been a good thing for the American economy to have allowed the Dubai World corporation to buy those seaports, Bush supported it but some people were opposed. I would rather that people pick sides on a case by case basis, after all the president could have a good idea and I don't want to have a good idea fall because of some form of partisan politics(or whatever broad term you would give to anti-personism or whatever)

People aren't moved to hate bush when they find out others hate bush. When people who are for bush see signs "Woot for bush." They think, "Ahh, people with sense." And when people who are against bush see, "Woot for bush." They think, "*sigh* They'll never know how stupid they are." All it does is reaffirm the people of the side you are defending and piss off the side you are offending.
