America has 194.4 million mobile phones but has 200 millions privately owned guns. Thats a lot of guns.

Bet theres more accidents due to the moible use in cars though than accidental shootings
Most people who have guns don't carry them everywhere but cell phones are everywhere

Ironic, isn't it?

A teenage driving a car and talking on a cell phone is a loaded weapon. Even without the phone I don't trust them!

But a mobile phone is not a weapon of malice, rather of carelessness. A gun can be both. Mobiles should have training certificates, just like guns.

Actually, I wish that using a cell phone while driving would be made treated like it is in the EU. --If you get caught, you go to jail, and pay a large fine. I believe that New York is the only state that has made Cell Phone use while driving, and then you only get a ticket.

Connecticut has the same law and I think New Jersey was talking about it

While we are at it, lets make fines for people who use laser pointers for malice.
It is already a crime against airplanes.

It's illegal to have a mobile phone in your hand while driving in Britain, but quite a few people still do it (particularly on motorways, I find).

It's the same in Connecticut and New York they still use them. I have seen police in my town with binocuulars watching people as they stopped a a stop sign near my house waiting to catch them it never takes that long for them to get someone

A gun can also save your life. It's like Yin & Yang good and bad. 8O
