I read somewhere that the official color of Aspergers is orange. i know that Autism is the multi-colored puzzle pieces. But I haven't been able to find anywhere anything like those silicone or rubber bracelets that say Aspergers that are orange. I've seen the ones for Autism on the web. Can Wrong Planet make some silicone orange bracelets that say Wrong Planet or Aspergers? Even if they said Aspergers, you can't really read them unless you are up close. Also, those ribbon pins, maybe for the same thing? What do you all think? Should we stick to the puzzle pieces or should we branch out and be our own people with the orange? Maybe orange puzzle pieces?

The puzzle ribbon is the "sign" of autism. It means neurodiversity.
The "orange" was created, as far as I know, by the people of Aspergia, who wanted to create a discrete passport so that they could recognize one another by seeing it. But an orange bracelet is more common than a puzzle one, so it is not really the sign of Asperger. Additionnally, although I do not know what the color orange means (I think it means impulsiveness), it does not really mean Asperger. So maybe the puzzle one would be more meaningful. But orange puzzle pieces could be prevalent to make the Asperger ribbon.

I keep seeing a blue puzzle piece, and I rememeber seeing blue bracelets somewhere. Never knew about orange.

Yeah, I saw the whole orange bracelet thing at Aspergia. I've often heard that the color orange means crazy, which -if it does- is very stereotypical and rude. However, orange is a wicked color none the less.

Is Aspergia a real place?

I do not believe that orange means crazy, because I also have mental illness awareness ribbon and that is silver, which is for "brain disorders". So since Autism and Aspergers are brain disorders, maybe that would also qualify, although Asperger's is closer to Autism than mental illness.

On E-Bay I found someone who is selling the autism awareness bracelets. They're blue silicone with the multi-coloured puzzle pieces all the way around. I messaged her to ask if there was an aspie bracelet and she said she'd never heard of one, that autism includes Asperger's Syndrome, and that she wears the blue bracelet for both her kids, one of whom is autistic and the other an aspie.
