I am interested to know if anyone who is better informed in politics than I am is familiar with a piece of writing entitled either A Letter To Garcia, or A Message to Garcia, or movies based on it.
I am also interested in any opinions about an employer who would require employees to view said movie, and what that might imply about that employer's political beliefs and views of the working class.

I have taken a glance at the subject in Wikipedia and started to form certain opinions, but would like to hear those of others before making a judgement while I am still researching.

Anyone interested? If not, that's okay. Thanks.

The movie has little to do with politics and everything to do with following orders. It sounds like your potential boss does'nt want anyone to question him. He's probably a sociopathic jerk. I would'nt work for him.

Actually, this is my current boss, hopefully soon to be ex-boss, who has recantly accused me of coming to work reeking of pot (not true). It seems she plays similar head games with a number of people.
Thank you for the information, I was getting elitist vibes as well as crazy vibes from her. She could well be a bit of a sociopath.

Believe me, I've wanted to say something similar to her. But almost everyone there seems to dislike or hate her already, and she's her own worst enemy. She would probably be shocked to know that people actually don't look up to her, and many of them laugh behind her back. At times I almost feel sorry for her.

She brings it on herself by being disrespectfull to others. I have no sympathy for those types!
