Forum for NTs?
Actually, it was so late that I got loopy and didn't communicate what I wanted to say at all well.
I was playing with the poster who mentioned NT inanity, and was wondering what they'd think of an NT who wasn't inane. Because they do exist. ![]()

How's it all going? I have a query; Might it be possible to have a forum catering for Neurotypical individuals associated with www.wrongplanet.net
There's already a parent forum here as part of Wrong Planet. It's not specificially for NTs, but it's for "discussing the various issues related to parenting children with Asperger's Syndrome and Autism."
So there already is one forum for people (not just NTs) associated with someone with autism. Not quite what you are asking for, but related.
I definitely would have liked a place for well, talking about dealing with someone with autistic traits. Not a parenting forum. The person is an adult acquaintance/friend. But also, not a place for NTs (I'm not one), and not a place for someone associated with someone who visits here (I don't know anyone here, other than through the forum).
I do agree, sometimes, it's nice to know when it's an NT, or semi-aspie, or such, posting. Heck, that's why I have the signature I do. I'm thinking of changing it to semi-aspie, maybe adding something like "who used to be more autistic than I am now".

Aspie Quiz: 110 Aspie, 103 Neurotypical.
Used to be more autistic than I am now.
In my profile (where we have the menu of choices to choose from) I chose "Not sure if I have it or not". It's not precisely right, but it's the closest. Nicer to be able to be more specific in our sigs.

After reading this thread and realizing I could have confused someone with a post I made elsewhere yesterday, I do think it is a good idea to put more information in my sig about my own status, if I can figure out a short way to say that.

That may be what I'll change mine to. About right considering I split that test RIGHT down the middle, too. (Don't actually fit the criteria, but I have my traits.

An NT forum here would be interesting indeed and I think I'd also visit/read it to see their views. However, I wonder if many NT's will use it as mostly only autistic people will come to a site like this in the first place, NT people have no reason at all (except for when they have a family member or friend with an ASD) to search for an autism forum. And if they stumble per accident upon this one, they might not even bother to check this out and notice that there is a forum included for them. They might not even know they are called ''NT''.
I feel it's an interesting idea, definetely, but I wonder if it'd be used. If there are NT's here and they have some issue related to for instance a family member with autism they can just as well visit the General Autism Discussion Forum.
Seeing autism from an NT perspective is interesting, but I guess we already do that once we visit a website about Asperger's. It's usually full with preassumptions of psychologists who think they have a clue about the reason of certain behavior, whilst they are terribly wrong.
