Why do you think I am a WHINER, because I have stated my negative experience with a moderator, like some other people in this thread?

This is just a little forum you post anonymously on amoung strangers you will never see. Put in context do you think it could be construed as whining or do you think this half as serious as you make out.

Lots of drama here.

You do NOT know that, people on here DO know other people here on WP in real life and there are lots of people who are NOT anonymous.



So now you are trying to make what I said in my comments unimportant, insignificant, trivial.

You either,

a) (you) know exactly what I am talking about in my comments or:

b) you know nothing about what I am talking about.

It's interesting to note the fact that you haven't done this to anyone else in this post/thread. Why is it that you have decided to act this way towards me?

You sound bothered and upset that I said what I said in my comments.

Do you believe it's possible that other members here on WrongPlanet will see what I have written and believe what I have said, is that what you are so afraid of?

Are you saying these things, to trying to manipulate other people into believing my comments aren't important and I'm just a whiner?

I have saved all the emails and PMs as well DW. I seriously doubt that my comment above surprised you. I wrote to you about all of this in my first email reply dated August 2nd, 2010 at 10:00 AM EST.

Afraid of? Not a lot. Magpies is a pretty big fear.

But talking more specifically here, what do you think anyone could do or say to me here to make me rage.
Before you answer I will confess to you that I have been banned three times here.
Also look through the last 12 posts of mine so as to get some kind of a general idea who or what I am and then answer that for me.
A lot of people here know me on other forums.
I know you as Taupey. You are a disembodied stream of angry words on a screen designated as having been spoken by something vaguely aquatic.


So Taupey (you know I am thinking not only don't you look like that aquatic creature but Taupey is not your even your real name) what am I afraid of? That is pretty unimportant. I am nothing really of concern. What matters is what YOU are afraid of. If YOU are afraid or angry or upset over internet drama then you are taking things a little too seriously.

I've been swooped more by butcher birds than magpies. Or did you annoy some football players from Collingwood?

Nah. I am absolutely phobic of the bird variety. Badly swooped as a 2 or 3 year old.
Now I am a tough fearless bloke and father. Until I am around magpies and then I turn into a frantic, frazzled, incoherent wreck. They start swooping, and I become a literal danger to myself and anything around me, as such a height my hysteria is.

Not actually a big fan of the Aussie magpie.

I'm not impressed nor intimidated. I could careless as to how many times you have been banned and what you have written in your past 12 comments. If Taupey isn't my real name, then what is it? Sometimes an avatar is just that, an avatar. I happen to like her, who ever she is aquatic or not. That doesn't mean what I say isn't valid. You are only trying to distract from the real issue here. I have obviously pissed you off, for you to single me out, react and comment the way you have about me and to me. Too effing bad for you!

There was no evidence that any third party outside of the CIA might be able to verify. You were not proving your case, you were scaring the members, as indicated by their posts and pm's in response to the situation. Nothing has been permanently deleted; it all exists in the moderator forum. If you can convince Alex to review it all again, go for it.



There was ONE sentence in that pm that is not here. I confess, at that moment I was MAD, and I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE. You may feel no sympathy for my neglecting my family and work to perform duties on your behalf, but I had NO OBLIGATION to do so, moderator or not. I was given that position; I did not volunteer, and I was never paid. Please do not imply that there was more in that one sentence than there was; that is inaccurate. And, yes, your implication that I am part of this conspiracy against you does make you sound paranoid, for there is nothing to back that up. Feel free to post every communication between us, and I can post the investigation I DID do on your behalf. I have not reached any conclusions on your other accusations based on your new targeting of me, I have just said that your targeting of me can have no other basis than paranoia. I have talked to NO ONE about your situation besides you and other moderators, and to imply that I have a bias is unfounded. I am, in fact, more biased towards you than any other moderator, for the simple fact that I am the one who saws the indications that you have suffered real abuse and put that into the conversation. I completely believe that you are a victim; what I cannot prove is that any single accusation on these forums has anything to do with the situation from which you actually suffer. That you want to fault me not having the skills of a CIA operative is something I can do nothing about, but it is unfair. My job on the WP was to moderate discussion, not solve all the mysteries of who is who and why people do what they do. That was far far beyond the scope of responsibility, and for you to read anything different into it is simply wrong.

There was nothing in those emails to indicate that *I* was part of the problem. In fact, I was trying to be part of the solution. What stunned me was when you stated openly in this thread that I might be part of a conspiracy.

You may not believe this, but deleting the public accusations really was for your own protection. If the information in the emails is correct, and I have to operate on the assumption that it was, you are best served by NOT showing your cards in public. The one game I do know how to play with internet sock puppets is the "wait for them to get so comfortable they mess up and prove who they are" game. That is forever blown when there is a public spectacle.

I am very sorry for the real abuse you have gone through, and for the fact that you most likely do have some unidentified stalker even here, on these forums. But right now you are willing to slay half the planet to root it out, wielding your sword while blindfolded, and that it not going to resolve the situation. It will, instead, make it worse. Until you can understand that, there is nothing left to talk about, and nothing left to do.

This discussion seems pointless. I can't even tell what's going on here other than personal attacks. Locked
