Okay, so what's actually being posted is the subject heading, the first few words of the first post of the thread, and a link to the thread.
And no names appears in the tweets, and no part of any post after the first appears in the tweet.
Seems to me, people who see those tweets are people interested in wrong planet. And if it does get retweeted, well, no different than someone posting a link somewhere else. That's, after all, what these tweets are, links to content, not content.
Doesn't bother me.
I do have one issue with it. I can't see any reason for having this twitter feed other than as a service for those using this message board. So why is is secret? If it's a service for us, why are we not informed of it so that, if we like, we can choose to use it.
And, if it's not a service for us, then I for one would like to who it's for.
